Mark Bertig

Mark Bertig was named Vice President and Regional Manager for Renda Broadcasting on August 8, 2006. Bertig entered the radio business in 1983 and joined Renda Broadcasting in 2002. Throughout his career, he has held various positions in sales, sales management, station management, and general management. Bertig himself has been recognized by the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters three times for his work on both public service and charitable campaigns. A large presence in the community, Bertig contributes his time and expertise toward helping local agencies, school districts, various sports programs, and one his biggest passions is serving as the chairman of his station clusters main charitable arm… known as the Teddy Bear Fund Drive…. a monetary drive which has raised nearly 3 million dollars to fund child health care at Indiana Regional Medical Center and Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, including over $600,000 the past five years alone. He has also been involved with numerous local civic groups and organizations serving on multiple boards. He also has helped to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for a non-profit sports organization in his hometown of Homer City including recently securing over $350,000.00 in grant funds for recreation complex development. He currently serves on the Downtown Indiana, Incorporated Board of Directors, the Indiana County Emergency Management Board of Directors, and the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters Board of Directors. Mark resides in Homer City, Pennsylvania with his wife Debby.
