Job Position: Account Executive/Digital Sales Representative – Altoona/Johnstown, State College & Kittanning

Description: Lightner Communications is seeking a dynamic overachiever who will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships, and implementing creative marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate should understand how to prospect for new business and cultivate and connect with local business owners to help them achieve their business objectives through effective radio and digital advertising.

Responsibilities: Bring new advertisers to the stations, generate new leads and sell non-traditional and interactive advertising. Establish and maintain strong salesperson-client relationships. Develop short and long-term plans for revenue growth.

Experience/ Qualifications: Outside sales experience is preferred but not required. Ideal candidates must possess exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Candidates must be self-motivated, goal-driven, passionate, and creative. Must be able to adapt and function in a fast-paced environment. An understanding and appreciation of sports is beneficial as we have multiple sales initiatives revolving around high school, college, and professional sports teams.
