On Friday, April 11, The Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters presented the 2025 Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting at the Harrisburg Hilton in downtown Harrisburg. More than 90 award winners were recognized in front of a crowd of their peers. PAB also presented Broadcaster of the Year honors to Chuck Seese (93.5 WSBG-FM) and Marty Radovanic (WTAJ-TV). The 2025 Hall of Fame inductees included David Johnson (WPXI-TV) and Jack Bogut (KDKA-FM). You can read their bios here.

“Another year, another outstanding slate of honorees and award recipients,” said Joe Conti, President of the PAB. “This event offers us the opportunity to recognize the exceptional work of our members’ station staff, along with four longstanding radio and television personalities from across the commonwealth. It is an honor and pleasure to play host once again.”

The annual event recognizes and celebrates Pennsylvania broadcasters’ hard work. PAB Awards are presented in various categories for broadcast radio and television stations. This year, 491 entries were received across 20 different categories, and they were judged by the Connecticut and Colorado Association of Broadcasters. The PAB presented 91 awards at the annual luncheon.

The awards presentation also included the Broadcast Now! program, which awarded the top teams from local high schools for producing informative videos about careers in the broadcast industry.
