About the Role

WEEU is seeking a dynamic and community-focused Co-Host for our flagship daily talk program Feedback (airing live 9am–12pm). The ideal candidate has proven on-air experience, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for informing and connecting our community.

Key Responsibilities On-Air Hosting

• Co-host Feedback live each weekday from 9am–12pm.
• Lead engaging discussions on local, state, and national news, welcoming diverse viewpoints and respectful debate. Digital & Social Media • Create engaging written, audio, and short-form video content for WEEU’s website and social channels.
• Promote news stories, interviews, and program highlights across platforms to grow audience reach and engagement on Feedback’s social media page. Collaboration & Community Engagement
• Work closely with producers, reporters, and station staff to deliver high-quality content.
• Participate in station events, live remotes, and interviews to strengthen WEEU’s presence in the community.

Qualifications

• Local to the Reading, PA area with strong knowledge of the community.
• Proven on-air radio or broadcast experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; poised moderating conversations with varying points of view. • Strong interest in news, politics, and current events.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, etc.) and digital storytelling.
• Comfortable in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment. Preferred Skills
• News writing, reporting, or producing experience.
• Audio editing and digital content creation (e.g., Adobe Audition or similar).
• Strong, engaging on-air presence with a professional and approachable style.
